Political Landscape
I have been keeping an eye on the Third District race for Congress here in Utah. And nothing has pleased me more than to see political novice John Jacob force 10-year veteran Chris Cannon into primary elections! A runoff ballot gave Jacob 52 percent of the vote to Cannon's 48 percent at the Utah Republican Convention last month.
Jacob vs. Cannon is only a small piece of the bigger puzzle. This sort of phenomenon is happening all over the country. At a time when illegal immigration is a hot button issue, Americans want leaders who will stand up to defend our language, border and culture. We've had it with the spineless jellyfish in office now.
This upcoming Monday morning, Jacob and Cannon will hold their last public debate at the city library. I was fortunate enough to run across this tid bit an hour or two ago. I will be there to see the two candidates in action. More on Monday.
